The Generic Domain Life Cycle
The generic Domain Life Cycle.
So what will happen when you left your domain expires ? Here is how the Domain Registrar will handle your domain name. These events are not set or controlled by us.
1) Your domain name will stop working, all websites & email services will not be functioning.
2) The expired domain name will have a 15-Days Grace Period. During this period, you can contact us to renew your domain name at normal price.
3) After 15 days, the domain name will be moved in Redemption Period. During this period, your domain is still recoverable, however the Domain Registrar will charge a high restoration fee. This fees are charged by the Domain Registrar. It is not our decision to charge our customers a high price for the domain restoration during this period.
4) If the domain name is not restored after 30-days, it will be moved into Pending Delete stage. During this stage, the domain name is not recoverable. It will be deleted and made available for public registration again after 5-days.
However, there are chances that back-orders have been made on your domain name, and therefore it will not be available for public registration again.
If your domain names are important to you or your business, we strongly encourage you to renew it before its expiry date.
Our system will send you multiple domain renewal notices for your attention before and after your domain is expired. This is to avoid hassles and misunderstandings on why you will have to pay a higher cost to restore your domain name afterwards.
We would like to thank all our customers for their continuous support, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@1host.my should you have any inquiries.
